Whilst the new Royal Hospital and Clatterbridge Cancer Centre have the modern Patient Entertainment System, Airwave Healthcare have announced that the system is to be installed at two other sites across Merseyside soon.

The MyCare TV system is expected to be installed across the Broadgreen site soon with the Aintree Hospital site to be installed later in 2026. The Patient Information system will allow patients to watch TV as well as listen to radio via the smart TV’s. Some screens will also allow patients to order meals and cast content from their mobile phones or tablets.

Radio Broadgreen will also be added as Liverpool’s only hospital community radio service giving patients across the Liverpool NHS Group the ability to listen to their very own radio service.
