Radio Broadgreen plays 5,000th Charity Filler

On compiling stats for Charity Fillers, Radio Broadgreen played the 5,000th Charity Filler to be aired since Charity Fillers started in March 2024. Charity Fillers are a non-profit providing a platform for charities and other such organisations to distribute adverts/promos to radio stations across the UK.

The 5,000th Charity Filler was for the Scar Free Foundation featuring Simon Weston and two other scarring patients. Other radio fillers include Alcoholics Anonymous and Doctors of the World Organisation.

Spencer Pryor of Charity Fillers said: ‘We are extremely pleased that we’ve reached this milestone in just four months of operation.

“Our thanks go out to the 70 participating UK radio stations for generously donating their ‘filler’ airtime and supporting the great charities that are part of Charity Fillers.

“As always, we always looking for more radio stations to join Charity Fillers and we will thank them for donating a few minutes of airtime each week to help good causes. Let’s see if we can hit 25,000 airtime plays before the end of 2024!” For more information about Charity Fillers, take a look at their website here.
