Radio Volunteer (Applications closed)

We are looking to recruit volunteer radio broadcaster for our popular request shows. If you like to meet people, like to chat, being of caring and compassionate nature, we would love to hear from YOU!

Do not apply if you are looking to be the next big DJ - we are looking for a person to train as a broadcaster who can relate to hospital patients!

The volunteer broadcaster is a key role in the organisation, providing the first impression of the Trust and offering an essential and valued service.

*Terms and conditions apply. This position is subject to DBS clearance. Applicants must be over 18 years of age. No experience needed but previous radio experience would be an advantage.

Ward Volunteers (Applications closed)

We are looking to recruit volunteer ward visitors to work alongside and support our presentation team at Radio Broadgreen in particularly on a Tuesday and Thursday morning on the Broadgreen site. If you like to meet people, like to chat, being of caring and compassionate nature, we would love to hear from YOU!

Volunteers will be expected to be available for a few hours on a Tuesday or Thursday morning.

*Terms and conditions apply. This position is subject to DBS clearance and Occupational Health checks. Full training will be given following your Trust Induction. Applicants must be over 18 years of age.

Music Librarian (Applications closed)

We are looking for a person who has a wide knowledge of music and is computer literate to work with our Myriad Playout system. You will be responsible to import and edit audio files ready for broadcast.

This position would be ideal for someone with a love of music and able to work alone for a few hours per week. Full training will be given. Applications expected to be advertised early 2021.

Sports Producers/Reporters/Commentators (Applications closed)

We are looking for people who have a great passion for local sport, in particular our local football and cricket clubs. You may be asked to cover press conferences, edit interviews or provide live commentary. Previous sports reporting/journalism experience would be an advantage. Station Assistants (Applications closed)

Like our Ward Visitors, Station Assistants are much valued members of our team working behind the scenes ensuring the station runs smoothly on a daily basis.

You would be tasked to assist the on-air members during their programme as well supporting the running of the radio station with the station manager/programme controller.

Regardless of your level of computer expertise or filing paperwork, everyone has the ability to help out.
